As the Flowers Whiting Initiatives 3rd Annual Turkey Giveaway draws near, our commitment to aiding families in need within Baltimore City remains steadfast. Our mission extends to those who have been affected, directly or indirectly, by the criminal justice system. Our goal is to establish a distribution hub to provide quality turkeys to families residing in food deserts, ensuring they can enjoy a Thanksgiving supper. We aim to distribute between 200-350 turkeys and hot meals, factoring in the cost of quality turkeys and the rental of a Uhaul truck for transportation. We kindly request support from our network and beyond to help us reach our $6,000 goal by November 19, 2022.
