Building on the success of last year's inaugural turkey giveaway, I am committed to continuing my mission of serving families in need within Baltimore City. Given the substantial number of returning citizens to specific areas, it's essential to provide support to families who have either directly or indirectly been impacted by the criminal justice system. I'm planning to establish a distribution hub for turkeys, ensuring that families in food desert areas can access quality meals for Thanksgiving.

To achieve this, I aim to distribute between 200-350 quality turkeys, and we'll also need to consider the cost of renting a refrigerated truck for transportation. To make this initiative a reality, I'm reaching out to both my network and the broader community, seeking assistance in reaching my goal of $6,000 by November 20, 2021. This support will go a long way in serving those in need within various Baltimore communities before Thanksgiving on November 25, 2021.
